Three men charged after armed robbery and police chase in Aberdeen

A mobile phone, cash and a car were stolen before police were led on a short pursuit on Saturday when the driver failed to stop.

Three men are due to appear in court today following an armed robbery and police chase in Aberdeen last week.

The incident happened on Friday 12 April on Rowan Road where a mobile phone, cash and a vehicle were stolen.

Shortly after 5pm the following day, Saturday 13 April, police officers located the stolen car travelling on North Anderson Drive and the driver failed to stop.

Officers were led on a short pursuit before the car crashed into street furniture.

The driver, aged 32, and two passengers of the vehicle, aged 32 and 34, were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

No injuries were reported.

The men are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
