Two men jailed after discovery of £1m worth of cannabis

Two men have been jailed after £1m worth of cannabis was found at a North East warehouse.

Steven Clark, 41, was jailed for three and a half years alongside Sean Imlach, 53, sentenced to three years and nine months at the High Court in Glasgow.

Police carried out a search of a premises in East Tullos Industrial Estate on Hillview Road in Aberdeen in February 2022.

A quantity of cannabis, with an estimated street value of £940,000 and a five-figure sum of cash were recovered.

Detective Inspector Robin Sim said: "Serious organised crime and drugs misuse brings nothing but misery to our local communities.

“This case shows that we will act on information provided by the local community and take robust action. We are committed to reducing the harm caused by drug supply.
