Two teddies are coming to the end of a 10,000 mile journey across the UK to raise money for the The National Association for Bikers with a Disability.

Relay Riders UK will complete their annual relay following three weeks of 24 hour travelling.

The furry mascots have been transported as far as Inverness and made trips through Aberdeen and Dundee.

Leah Aitchison is a volunteer for the organisation.

She said: "We hold the UK's biggest non-stop teddy bear relay, this year we were hoping to beat the 10,000 mile mark; hopefully £10,000 as well."

280 bikers from across the country have taken part in the event, who spent the majority of last week traveling across Scotland.

"They are seeing lots of sights around the UK, they're visiting as many tourist attractions and points of interest as they can," said Leah.

"We've been in every country of the UK so far, with support from the public, support riders and our carriers, it has been phenomenal and we are very grateful for all the support that we get

George and Tina are this years mascots, who will be auctioned off to raise money when their journey comes to an end.

Leah said: "Normally we have one mascot but we have two this year, and we offered out in an auction for people to name those bears.

"One of them did start off white, shes not quite as white as she was when we started; when she arrived in Scotland she was a little bit grubbier than when she started for sure."

Next year will be the tenth anniversary of The Relay Rider's event, and are hoping to go even bigger for the anniversary.

"This year we've has a few firsts, we made it over to Ireland, but we would like to push it a little further next year and see how far we can push it out of the UK."
