The appeal relates to an incident of theft and assault that happened on Friday 24 March in Barns Park.
It happened around 11am.
The police are now asking for the man pictured, or anyone who recognises him with any information on his whereabouts to get in touch.
A spokesperson said: “anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 1182 of 24 March, 2023.
