Transport Police release pictures of man and woman connected to Ayr Station assault

BTP believe the pair can assist them with the investigation into an assault at Ayr Station on May 6.

Transport police in Ayr have release images of a man and woman who they believe can assist them with an assault investigation.

Officers believe the two people pictured are known to each other and have information that could help them regarding an assault ay Ayr train station last month.

The assault happened on Saturday 6 May at around 7pm.

The British Transport Police have release descriptions of the man and woman, are asking the two people, or anyone who recognises them to reach out as soon as possible.

Description

The male is described as white, aged mid 50’s, stocky heavy build, dark hair swiped to the side, facial hair, wearing a dark zip up jacket and blue jeans. The male has a tattoo on the side of his neck, has a pierced ear and possibly speaks with an Irish accent.

The female is described as white, aged mid 50’s, short blonde hair, wearing a light denim jacket and jeans, white trainers, carried a black handbag and possibly speaks with an Irish accent.
