Man hospitalised after serious assault on Glasgow train

He was left with facial injuries after Saturday night's attack

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault on board a train from Glasgow Central to Largs.

The incident happened on Saturday May 18 at around 7pm.

The victim was attacked by two young men who left him requiring hospital treatment for facial injuries.

Both the suspects, who left the train at Kilwinning, are described as being white, and aged around 15 or 16 year of age. One was wearing a Celtic top the other an orange top.
