Police appeal for help to trace missing man from Fairlie

Police in North Ayrshire are appealing for help form the public to trace a 59-year-old man who has gone missing from his home in Fairlie.

Kenneth Logan was most recently seen on Main Road in the village at around 2pm on Tuesday.

He is described as being white, 5ft 8in tall and of slim build. He was short grey or white hair.

He was last known to be wearing a green/khaki baseball cap, a green and bottle green jumper, faded black jeans and grey shoes. He also wears frameless glasses.

Sergeant Martin Fraser said: “We are concerned for Kenneth’s welfare and would urge anyone who believes they may have seen him or spoken to him since Tuesday afternoon to get in touch.

“We know he regularly walks in the Fairlie area, near to Fairlie Castle and Kelburn Country Park. He also walks regularly between Largs and Hunterston coal pier.

“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 3199 of 25 July.”
