Police say a woman from Irvine who was last sighted in Glasgow has been found safe and well.

An appeal was put out after Christine Brown was last seen on Tuesday afternoon leaving Sauchiehall Street Tesco at around 3pm.

She was believed to have travelled from Irvine to the city by train on Monday 27 November.

In a statement shortly after 8am Police Scotland thanked everyone who had shared the appeal.
