Man suffers serious head injury after assault in Chippenham
A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent
Wiltshire Police are urgently appealing for witnesses to a serious assault in Chippenham in the early hours of Sunday morning (23 January).
It left a 28-year-old man with a serious head injury. He was believed to have been assaulted in Foghamshire.
Officers have arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of GBH with intent.
They would like to hear from anyone who witnessed a group of males who were involved in an argument outside E11evn’s nightclub in The Bridge between 2.30am and 3am on Sunday 23 January.
They would especially like to speak to a taxi driver who may have been outside the club at this time and may prove to be an important witness.
