An old car showroom in Aylesbury could be taken over by HS2.

The company wants to use the old Stratstone garage on Buckingham Road as its North Chilterns base whilst the line is built.

The old showroom - empty since 2019 - would be used as offices.

A planning application shows the old outdoor display area turned over to planting, whilst the car workshops would be used to house contractors' 4x4s.

Part of the site is now a car body repair workshop.

The application says this would give HS2 and its contractors a proper base for the area and uses a site which is ready for occupation.
