The Aylesbury venue is hoping locals will stay creative in lockdown.

Queens Park Arts Centre in Aylesbury has now closed its doors, for at least the next four weeks, but they will continue to post content and encourage creativity.

Dario Knight, theatre and marketing manager for QPAC, wants people had this to say about their plans:

"We have been working on lots of audio and video content during September and October. They are connected with our workshops but also with our theatre company Unbound.

"So that is all prescheduled and ready to roll out online and on our social media over the next four weeks.

"Although we may not be able to welcome people to sit for this period, we are going to be continuing to promote and encourage creativity at home.

"It has never been more important to engage in creativity. It is a very important part of maintaining a healthy life balance for your emotional and mental wellbeing."

In March the centre launched a campaign urging people to "Live Creatively".

They asked people to take part in a creative activity, from painting, to drawing pottery etc, and then for them to share images and videos online.

The group encouraged the use of #LiveCreativelyQPAC so that the tag could be filled with creative ways of embracing the arts at home during this difficult time.
