A petition has been set up by people fed up of seeing drug dealing outside their local shop in Aylesbury.

It's calling for CCTV and more police officers around the Co-Op on Hawkslade.

Those behind it say dealing has been an issue 'for several years' on Orwell Drive.

"This happens throughout the day in broad daylight, and continues into the early hours with cars packed with people pulling up and making a lot of noise whilst revving their engines, smoking, and drinking, and we, the people of Hawkslade have had enough."

They say something needs to be done and the appeal goes out to both our councils and Thames Valley Police.

"It makes the place unpleasant to live, and we don’t feel safe in our own neighbourhood, concerned that approaching them will result in physical harm."

You can find the petition here.
