Aylesbury is one of the Buckinghamshire areas awaiting vaccine roll-out details.

Aylesbury's MP Rob Butler says having the vaccine rolled out across Aylesbury is a matter of urgency.

So far no centres for vaccinations in Aylesbury have been announced by the NHS.

Rob says hopefully there will be an update soon:

"I have raised this with the health secretary in parliament and speaking with the vaccine's minister to ask him personally to ensure local people can get these vital inoculations as soon as possible.

"The decision on roll out and timing is being taken by the NHS but I very much hope there will be local sites up and running within a week, because these vaccinations provide the route out of lockdown and that is what we all need and want."

Recent figures shows the figure for daily positive coronavirus cases in Aylesbury Vale is at 195 people.

Which brings to total number of people who have tested positive in the area to 6.831.
