All bin collections in Aylesbury Vale are cancelled today, after the council's depot flooded.

Buckinghamshire Council say Pembroke Road suffered with 'significant internal and external flooding' yesterday.

We saw significant flooding across the area yesterday, of course, and the impact is still being felt today.

All waste collections today have been affected, meaning household, recycling and garden bin collections are off.

Other services from this depot include street cleansing, litter bin emptying, grass cutting, and also Taxi MOTs.

The Taxi Licensing team is cancelling MOTs that have been arranged for tomorrow, and commercial waste customers will be contacted directly.

In an update last night, Bucks Council said:

"Work is underway to ensure services can be resumed as soon as possible, and all bins will be collected in due course.

"Further updates will be issued tomorrow (Monday), when the situation becomes clearer."

We'll bring you more as we get it.
