Conservatives lead in Buckinghamshire Council election results
The unitary council has gone through their first local election

Results are coming through for Buckinghamshire local elections.
Buckinghamshire Council was set to launch April 1 2020, but 9 days before a national lockdown was announced and plans were moved forward.
The pandemic impacted the new council launch but also the last year, with the local elections in 2020 delayed.
For the last year councillors have stayed in their role and Cll Martin Tett has been leading Buckinghamshire Council.
Now though, the 197 have been cut down to 147 which was the number agreed with the Secretary of State when the Unitary council was authorised.
The Conservatives have taken the most seats in this election with 113 and were awarded 47% of the votes across the county.
Second in seats at 15 are the Liberal Democrats, they received 20% of the total votes.
Although Labour received the third highest vote share at 14% they only secured 4 seats.
Voter turn out has been placed at 39% for the county.
