Free parking to end at Bucks Council car parks
Charges were lifted for a month as we headed back to the shops
Today is the last day of free parking across Buckinghamshire Council's car parks.
They lifted fees for a month after shops re-opened.
Tomorrow, you'll have to pay.
The council say ticket machines, lifts and public spaces are being cleaned regularly or you can pay via an app.
The incentive aimed to encourage residents and visitors to support Buckinghamshire's local businesses and to return to our town centres.

As high streets have reopened and residents are returning to use shops, restaurants, etc., the Council say that it is important to effectively manage car parking space to help manage traffic flows and improve pedestrian safety. A structured payment regime also supports supply and demand, ensuring sufficient parking is available.
The Council said:
"A range of health and safety measures in car parks have been put in place to help reduce the spread of coronavirus, including marking out social distancing areas around ticket machines, and advisory signage.
"There are enhanced cleaning regimes in place for ticket machines, lift buttons and other surfaces in high footfall areas. Buckinghamshire Council has introduced the option for ticketless pay and display in more car parks across the county via RingGo; this option is available by downloading the App on your mobile phone."
Throughout the pandemic, the reduction in numbers of vehicles on the roads has seen measurable improvements in air quality, particularly in urban areas.
To support residents who want to continue to cycle, additional secure bicycle parking is being provided at many locations and railway stations.
There are also plans to introduce cycle lanes, where this is feasible, to separate cyclists from other road users.

STEP FOUR: From 21st June all remaining restrictions on social distancing could be lifted, and larger events may be allowed to resume. Nightclubs may also be allowed to reopen.

STEP FOUR: Bigger wedding celebrations may be permitted from 21st June.
21st June: Mass events
STEP FOUR: If all restrictions on social distancing are lifted on 21st June, mass events including concerts and festivals will be allowed to resume.
