Kidnapping reported in Chesham

A kidnapping has been reported in Chesham.

Around 2am on Saturday (05/09) a call was made to Thames Valley Police about a man being forced into a red BMW series 1 in Chalk Hill, Chesham.

A 20-year-old man from Hillingdon was arrested on suspicion of kidnap and has since been released under investigation.

nvestigating officer, Detective Sergeant Simon Reid, of Amersham CID, said:

“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, or who may have information about what happened to please come forward.

“We believe that there was a birthday party in the nearby area and would like to speak to anyone who has any information about it or who attended it.
