An investigation into a reported kidnap in Aylesbury has concluded.
Thames Valley Police have concluded their investigation after an allegation of kidnap was report on Tuesday August 18th 2020.
The report was made about a kidnap on Berryfield Road in Aylesbury.
A 22-year-old man from Birmingham was arrested in connection with the incident but has been released with no further action.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Chris Beckford said: “Thames Valley Police always takes reports of this nature extremely seriously.
“In this case, officers carried out a thorough investigation to establish what happened and can confirm that, although the reported circumstances were initially alarming, no offences took place.
“I would like to thank the community for their understanding and patience while this investigation has been ongoing.
“Thames Valley Police would always advise members of the public to report suspicious incidents to us by calling 101 or 999 in an emergency.”
