A man has been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, after a warrant was carried out at an address in Chesham.

The man, aged in his 30s, has been arrested on suspicion of theft of a pedal cycle and handling stolen goods.

He has been bailed until 11 May, pending further police enquiries.

A property on Lindhurst Road was searched under Section 8 of the PACE act and a number of pedal cycles, chainsaws and other power tools were seized.

Investigating officer DS Wendy Fellowes, based at Amersham police station, said:

"Information that we receive from the community is vital and informs where we put our resources and allows us to take action against any illegal activity.

"If you, or anyone you know, suspects that an address in your neighbourhood is being used for criminal purposes, please call us on 101.

"Every call can make a difference."
