Man jailed for five years in connection with Milton Keynes stabbing

A man has been jailed for five years at Aylesbury Crown Court in connection with a stabbing in Milton Keynes.

Steven Pickford, aged 31, of no fixed abode, was jailed for five years. Tony Pickford, aged 39, of Towan Avenue, Milton Keynes, was sentenced to a two year community order, and Yousef Ayub, aged 32, of no fixed abode, was sentenced to an 18 months community order.

On the 20th of June last year, the defendants got into a dispute with a 43 year-old man in Aylesbury Street, Fenny Stratford.

In order to escape from the three men, he tried to get into a passing car. However, the men pulled him out of the vehicle. Steven Pickford then stabbed the man over 13 times causing life changing injuries. Pickford and the other two men then ran away from the scene.

The emergency services treated the victim at the scene before he was taken to hospital, where he was treated for punctured and collapsed lungs, fractured ribs and stab wounds to his back, chest and arms.

Steven Pickford pleaded guilty to one count of section 18 grievous bodily harm and one count of possession of a bladed article, Tony Pickford pleaded guilty to one count of affray, and Yousef Ayub also pleaded guilty to one count of affray.
