A man has been sentenced following his conviction for drugs offences in High Wycombe.

Daniel Dumont was sentenced on Monday (30 May) at a hearing at Aylesbury Crown Court, to a total sentence of three years and four months.

The 38-year-old pleaded guilty to one count each, of possession with intent to supply heroin and possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession of cannabis.

At around 5.25pm on 10 April 2022, Dumont was seen to the rear of an address on West Wycombe Road.

A marked police car approached him, at which point he moved quickly towards some bushes and discarded something.

Dumont was detained under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Two cling film packages containing suspected heroin and cocaine were retrieved by officers from the bushes. Dumont was then arrested.

A search of a room where Dumont had been staying on West Wycombe Road, recovered two phones and further drugs believed to be crack cocaine were found.

Drugs paraphernalia and £500 in cash was also seized, along with a motorcycle.

Dumont was arrested and subsequently charged.
