Murder investigation started over missing woman in Bedfordshire

Police say they're now treating her disappearance in November last year as murder.

Police are now treating Annette Smith's disappearance in November last year as murder, but have yet to make any arrests.

Detectives are urging anyone who may have seen a missing woman from Bedfordshire to get in touch.

The 74 year old was last seen in Fairfield Park near Stotfold, on or around the 11th of November.

Detective Chief Inspector Dale Mepstead, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: “We have been carrying out thorough enquiries into Annette’s disappearance and based on the information that we have, we are now treating this as a murder investigation"
