Police appeal following assault in Wendover

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Wendover.

The incident occurred at around 11.30pm on Saturday (16 April) at the Lucca Restaurant on High Street.

Officers say the fight broke out in the restaurant between the victim, a man in his fifties, and two offenders.

The victim sustained a broken jaw, loose teeth and bruising in the incident and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment where he has since been discharged.

One of the offenders is described as a white man, aged in his sixties, with thin grey hair and was wearing a red t-shirt and a red bomber jacket.

The other offender is described as a white man, aged in his thirties, with dark, short hair, full beard and was wearing a short sleeved, white or light blue shirt.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Gary Scott, based at Aylesbury police station, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information about this incident to please get in touch.
