Hertfordshire Constabulary are trying to trace the occupants of a white Volkswagen Golf which was seen driving in Watford, as they may have information which could help with an ongoing investigation.

Currently, detectives are investigating a report that two teenage girls, both under 18, were sexually assaulted at an address in the town on the 16th August 2022.

After leaving the address, one of the victims was reportedly seen talking to the occupants of a white VW Golf in Cuffley Avenue, before a member of the public came to assist her.

The police have said the car, which contained three males, was then driven off towards Garston Lane.

Detective Constable Ayodeji Afolabi said: "Enquiries are continuing at this time and an arrest has been made in connection with the sexual assaults.

"As part of our investigation, we’re keen to trace the occupants of the VW Golf, as they may be key witnesses and could have information to assist us. If you remember speaking with a female in the area around this time, please get in touch."
