Police appeal to trace Springhill prison absconder

Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help in finding the whereabouts of a man who has absconded from HMP Springhill in Buckinghamshire.

Steven Whitelaw, aged 34, absconded yesterday evening (21st September) between 8.15pm and 11.50pm.

He is approximately 5ft 6ins tall, of stocky build, with short brown hair. He also has a tattoo of the word ‘Zena’ on the left side of his neck and a scar above his right eye.

Whitelaw is believed to have links to Coventry.

Police are asking the public not to approach Whitelaw, but to call 999 instead. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or report online quoting 43210426780.
