Man jailed for supplying class A drugs in Reading
Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been jailed for supplying class A drugs in Reading
Stuart Turner, aged 33, was sentenced to two years and four months in prison at Reading Crown Court on Friday 17th December .
Turner pleaded guilty to two counts each of possession with intent to supply heroin and cocaine.
At around 2.40pm on 20 June 2021, police witnessed a suspected drugs exchange involving Turner in Mason Street, Reading.
Turner rode on a bicycle to Great Knollys Street where he was arrested, discarding drugs on the ground as he was detained.
During a subsequent search of his property, police recovered a further quantity of crack cocaine and heroin.
While on police bail, Turner was arrested after being seen acting suspiciously in Victoria Park at around 11am on 13 July.
A bag was located nearby containing a quantity of crack cocaine and heroin while another property search found a quantity of cash.
Turner was charged in relation to both offences on 14 July.

“Through Stronghold, we are committed to working in partnership to tackle serious organised crime and exploitation, such as county lines drug dealing.
“We continue to need the support of the public in this, and we would ask them to report any information that they have about drug dealing".
