Roadworks cause another morning of gridlock in Aylesbury
The A418 has been badly hit by the works.

Roadworks on the A418 north of Aylesbury are causing gridlock this morning (Weds).
Traffic is extremely slow both through Bierton heading north and coming down from the Wingrave crossroads.
Even though roadworks at the new Eastern Link Road are supposed to be finished, it looks as if this is the pinch-point causing issues.
It appears the lights were supposed to be removed earlier but are still in place untilt this evening.
As a result of the delay, the A413 heading into Aylesbury is looking busier as drivers avoid the A418.
We also have temporary lights in place near the Coppice for Thames Water work.
