Police forces have halted searches for a missing Bucks man after a body was found in Essex

The search for a missing man from Marlow, in Buckinghamshire, has been halted after a body was found in Hockley Woods, South East Essex, on Saturday 30 December.
Marc Jones, 44, was reported missing on December 23 after he had travelled to see family in Essex for Christmas.
Formal identification is yet to be carried out by Essex police, with the help of Thames Valley Police, who are supporting the family of Marc Jones and keeping them informed of developments.
Both police forces have worked together to pursue reasonable lines of enquiry to locate Marc, including following up sightings reported by the public to Essex Police and Thames Valley Police.
Essex police will be making a referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) to seek to identify whether there were early opportunities or lines of enquiry to be explored which may not have been.
They said they are working hard to investigate what happened and will be providing an update as soon as they can.
Their thoughts are with Marc's family and those close to him.
