Stevenage FC says it's looking to thank and recognise NHS staff, emergency services, vaccination volunteers and armed forces personnel this Saturday (29th January).

The club's annual emergency services match is taking place for a third time, with tickets available for £5 for those who work in the sectors.

They can purchase them in return for showing their Blue Light Card, Staff ID or Official Veterans Card.

The club added in a statement: 'On Saturday 29th January 2022, Stevenage Football Club is holding its third annual dedicated Emergency Services match to thank and recognise their selfless and inspiring hard work in our local area before and during the pandemic.

'In appreciation, the Club is offering discounted North Stand tickets priced at £5 for Saturday’s home fixture against Harrogate Town upon presentation of their Blue Light Card, Staff ID or Official Veterans Card.

'Visit us in-store at the Stevenage FC Club Shop (open Thursday & Friday 10am-5pm) or from the North Stand Ticket Office (open from midday – 3pm on the day of the game) with your Blue Light Card, Staff ID or Official Veterans Card to purchase your discounted ticket.'
