Eight burglaries in Wokingham area linked

Police appeal for witnesses after spate of break-ins

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to multiple burglaries around the Wokingham area which they say are linked.

On Friday (8/3), jewellery and cash were stolen during burglaries between 6.45pm and 9.35pm at properties on;

Kelsey Avenue, Finchampstead;

Fernbank, Wokingham;

Babbage Way, Bracknell;

Eastheath Gardens, Wokingham;

Heron Road, Wokingham;

Foxglove Close, Wokingham;

Lower Wokingham Road, Finchampstead;

Repton Road, Earley.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Paul Roche said:

“We would like to appeal to anybody who may have witnessed any of these incidents to please get in touch. We believe that the incidents are linked and were committed by the same offenders.

“We would also like to appeal to those residents in the surrounding areas to check CCTV and door cam footage.

“Anyone with information is urged to contact us by calling 101 or via our website, quoting reference number 43240110092.

“Alternatively, you can report information completely anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
