Police issue CCTV after violent robbery in Reading

Police have issued images of two men officers wish to speak to as they may have vital information about an assault in Reading.

Sometime between 11pm on 26 January and 3am the following morning (27/1), a man in his fifties was assaulted in Abbey Walk and had his iPhone 15 Pro stolen.

The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for further treatment. He has since been discharged.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Natasha Black, based at Reading police station, said:

“I am appealing to anybody who recognises these men to please get in touch with us as we believe he may have vital information about this assault.

“If you are any of the men pictured, please get in touch with police as soon as possible.
