Man suffers serious injuries in crash near Reading
Police say the vehicle he was in left the road and hit a tree
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Burghfield where a man sustained serious life-threatening injuries.
At approximately 1.30am this morning (28/12), a blue Volkswagen Fox was driving on Goring Lane when it left the carriageway and collided with a tree.
The driver, a man in his fifties, sustained serious life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains at this time.
Senior Investigating officer, Police Sergeant Martin York of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said:
