Man charged with arson and assault in Andover
A man has been charged following an incident in Andover on Saturday night (29 January).
Shortly after midnight police responded to reports of a fire at an address.
They also received an allegation that a woman was assaulted at the location by a man known to her.
Following enquiries, 30 year old Mwamba Munkonge, of Alder Road in Andover was charged with arson and assault by beating.
He was remanded in custody and will appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Monday (31 January).
