Man charged with attempted murder after property set on fire in Basingstoke
A man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was found injured in Basingstoke.
28 year old Kyle Butler of Cannon Close Ellisfield is also accused of arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered and wounding with intent.
A property on Butler Close was also set on fire during the incident on Friday 24 June.
Officers were called to the address and found a woman in her 20s with non-life threatening injuries.
The property had been set on fire but this was quickly put out.
One officer sustained an injury to his hand and several others were treated for smoke inhalation following the incident.
