Motorcyclist seriously injured in Reading collision

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a collision left a man with serious injuries in Reading.

At around 8.20pm on Monday (31/8) an orange KMT motorcycle was involved in a collision with a red Mini at the junction of Oxford Road and Elm Park Road, opposite the Mosque.

The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his twenties, was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains.

No one else was injured.

Investigating officer, PC Christian Pinder, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing to witnesses of this collision to please come forward.

“I would also ask any motorists who have dash-cams and were in the local area around the time of the incident to check footage in case it has captured anything significant to the investigation.
