Serving Reading Police officer facing violence charges
He'll appear in court next month
A serving police officer has been charged with battery in Reading.
Thames Valley Police officer, PC Lewis Cave, aged 29, was charged with three counts of battery and one count of threatening violence to secure entry on Friday (5/1).
The offences took place in Reading on 18 August last year, while PC Cave was off-duty.
PC Cave, who is based at Reading police station, is currently suspended from duty.
He is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on 1 February.
