Three men charged and due to be sentence over kidnapping in Reading

Thames Valley Police have charged three men have been charged with several offences after two men were kidnapped in Reading.

Gevin Pasha, aged 20, of Gray Street, Northampton, was charged with two counts of false imprisonment and one count each of conspiracy to blackmail and assault on Tuesday (14th December).

Pasha was remanded in custody at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (15th December) – he is next due to appear at Reading Crown Court on 12 January 2022.

Klej Doci, aged 26, of St Margaret’s Road, St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, was charged with two counts of false imprisonment and one count each of assault, conspiracy to kidnap and conspiracy to blackmail on Wednesday (15th December).

Doci was remanded in custody at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (16th December) – he is next due to appear at Reading Crown Court on 17th January 2022.

Garcon Lala, aged 26, of Eastern Road, Haringey, London, was charged with two counts of false imprisonment and one count each of assault, conspiracy to kidnap, conspiracy to blackmail and possession of imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of harm yesterday (17th December).

Lala was remanded in custody at Reading Magistrates’ Court today (18/12) – he is next due to appear at Reading Crown Court on 17th January 2022.

It is in connection with an incident that occurred on Maiden Place, Lower Earley, at around 6.30pm on 8 December and a police presence at a property in Northampton on Monday (13th December).

Head of CID Detective Superintendent Ailsa Kent said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident in the car park or has any information about this to please get in touch.
