Police are appealing for the public’s help to find a man who is wanted for failing to appear at court.

Aaron Coaker, aged 40, failed to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on 30 January.

He was charged with five counts of burglary and one count each of attempted burglary and vehicle interference on 3 November last year.

The charges relate to offences on Sherwood Street, Reading, on 18 October last year.

Coaker is of slim build and 5ft 9ins tall. He has links to Reading town centre and Tilehurst.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Ed Seccombe, based at Reading police station, said:

“Enquiries have been ongoing to locate Aaron Coaker since he failed to appear at court but we are now appealing for the public’s help.

“If you know where he is or may have seen him, call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43230045818. If you see him, do not approach him and call 999 instead.

“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
