Police say Scott belcher is wanted in connection with multiple offences

Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help in tracing a man who is wanted in connection with a series of offences in Reading.

Scott Belcher, who is 48-years-old, is wanted in connection with offences including assault, criminal damage, threats to kill, stalking, malicious communications and breach of a restraining order.

Belcher is a white man, around 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins tall, with a medium build.

He has brown and grey styled hair and a grey/brown short beard and moustache.

He’s known to frequent public houses in the Oxford Road area of Reading and Caversham.

Staff investigator Phoebe Mayo, based at Reading Police Station, said:

“We have been seeking to locate Belcher since the first incident in May, and he has yet to be located.

“I am appealing to anybody who knows of Belcher’s whereabouts to contact Thames Valley Police on 101 or via the website, quoting reference number 43220266713, or if you see him, do not approach him, but call us on 999.

“You can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
