Man, 39, arrested following crash in Berwickshire

A man's been charged following a crash in Berwickshire at the weekend.

It follows an incident on the A1107 at Pease Bridge, near Cockburnspath, shortly before 2pm yesterday (Sunday).

The road was closed from the Pease Bay turn-off to the A1 at the time.

Police say a report detailing the circumstances will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal, and the 39-year-old is expected to appear at Jedburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 39-year-old man was arrested and charged following a crash involving a vehicle on the A1107 at Pease Bridge around 1.55pm on Sunday, May 28th, 2023.

"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and he is expected to appear at Jedburgh Sheriff Court at a later date."
