Police probe report of man 'behaving in a manner that made other bus passengers feel uncomfortable'
Police want to speak to anyone who was travelling on the number 74 bus from Galashiels Interchange to Melrose shortly after 5pm on Tuesday.
It comes as officers investigate reports of a man "behaving in a manner that made other passengers feel uncomfortable".
The man in question - described as being over 60 - was later asked to leave the bus by its driver.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Anyone who was on the bus at the time and saw anything out of the ordinary is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2734 of Wednesday, 31 May, 2023."
