Jewellery stolen during raid on home in St Boswells

People living in St Boswells are being urged to remain vigilant.
Community councillors have issued the plea following a break-in to a home in Jenny Moore's Road.
It's the second burglary in the village in six months.
Jewellery was taken in the lastest raid, which happened sometime between 3pm and 9pm yesterday (Sunday).
Thieves smashed their way in through the patio door at the back of the house.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
A spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a break-in at a property in Jenny Moore’s Road in St Boswells, which happened between 3pm and 9pm on Sunday, November 5th.
“A number of items were stolen and enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information can call 101, quoting reference 3964 of November 5th.”

Meanwhile, a number of cars had their rear wind screens smashed in Tweedbank in the early hours of this morning.
At least two are believed to have been targeted in Hareshaw Bank between 4am and 7.30am.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We have received reports of vehicles being vandalised in the Hareshaw Bank area of Tweedbank, which are believed to have taken place overnight between Sunday, November 5th, and Monday, November 6th, 2023. Enquiries are at an early stage.”
"Anyone who has information about this incident is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101 and quote incident number 0580 of November 6th.”
