A cyclist has been seriously injured in a fail-to-stop collision in Bristol.

It happened in the early hours of this morning in Totterdown, with enquiries to identify the driver of the car involved still ongoing.

Police say the incident occurred at about 3.10am in St Luke’s Road, with the cyclist sustaining serious, potentially life-threatening, injuries.

He has since been taken to hospital.
