The first headliners have been announced for this summer's Bristol Pride Festival, which is due to go ahead on 13th July.

The annual event, which celebrates the LGBTQ+ community in the city, sees events held across Bristol from 29th June to 13th July, culminating in a festival on The Downs on the final day.

As part of the festival, organisers say stars of Rupaul's Drag Race will headline this year's Cabaret stage, while DJ's Confidence Man will headline the afterparty at Bristol's O2 Academy.

Among those set to perform on the Cabaret stage include Heidi N Closet and Pixie Polite, plus Lola Lasagne and Snow White Trash.

Meanwhile at the afterparty DJs will perform across three rooms in the O2 Academy, including Don't Tell Your Mother, Remy Melee and Jersey the Devil.

Last year's Bristol Pride Festival was headlined by Jake Shears, alongside Natalie Imbruglia and Girls Aloud star, Nadine Coyle.

Further headliners for this years edition will be announced in the coming weeks and months.

Advance tickets for The Official Pride Afterparty and Supporter Wristbands for Pride Day are available via the Bristol Pride Website.
