Avon and Somerset Police are investigating after two women were sexually assaulted in a Bristol supermarket, in the middle of the day.

It happened back on Thursday 3 March at lunchtime in the Sainsbury's at Clifton Down.

Officers say two women were touched while in the supermarket, before the suspect was chased away by staff.

They have shared a CCTV image of a man running out of the shop being chased by at least one other person.

"Officers believe the man in the CCTV image we’re releasing may have information which could help their inquiry," a statement from the police reads.

"He is described as being black, in his mid-20s, with dark facial hair.

"He was wearing a black hat, black jeans and a black puffer jacket. He was also carrying a black rucksack."

Anyone who knows who the man is should call 101 and quote the reference number 5222051675.
