Avon and Somerset Police are looking to speak with two men in connection with the incident

Avon and Somerset Police are appealing to the public for any information after a dog was reported stolen earlier this month.

The Staffordshire Bull Terrier was taken from the town centre in Weston-Super-Mare on Tuesday, December 20 - with the force eager to speak to two men who they think have information connected with the incident.

They say they think they have information which could help with their investigations.

The Staffordshire Bull Terrier was stolen from its owner in Regent Street at around 10.50pm on December 20.

The suspect made off with the dog in a white van, which was parked in Oxford Street outside The Loft nightclub.

Officers would like to the two people in the CCTV image.

They are both described as young, white men, aged around 18-years-old and are both shown wearing black jackets, grey jogging bottoms and white trainers.

One has short, dark hair and the other is blonde.
