Woman dies in Wells car crash
A lorry and a car collided at around 9am this morning
A woman has died after a crash between a car and a lorry in Wells.
Avon and Somerset Police have announced the news this afternoon, saying it happened at around 9am on the A39 Bristol Hill.
In a brief statement officers say their thoughts are with the woman's family.
An investigation into the cause is now underway, with the police appealing for any dashcam footage either of the crash itself, or the moments just before and after.
