Do’s and Don’ts

Do approach companies/organisations to donate products that you can raffle off etc.

Do keep in mind that we are a children’s charity when planning ways to fundraise, so try and stay away from events with adult themes. Please call us for clarification if unsure.

If you want to collect in public places then please remember if you are collecting at a shopping mall, supermarket etc. then you will need the owner’s permission. You cannot do a street collection without a license from the local authority.

We are happy for you to use the Cash for Kids logo online or in any promotional materials but there are some guidelines. Please contact us for details.

Do encourage anyone who is a UK Taxpayer and donates on your page to include Gift Aid as this will benefit the charity with no additional cost to you or your supporters. We can claim 25p from HMRC for every £1 donated.

If you have any questions that are not covered in the above then please call your local Cash for Kids team.
