Plymouth councillors will meet today (Friday 8 December 2023) to discuss a potential increase in tolls for the Tamar Bridge.

There are more calls from campaigners to abolish tolls on the ferry and bridge that connect Devon and Cornwall.

We could see charges on the crossing rise to £3.20, and £1.60 for tag payments.

Campaigners are today gathering to protest against the tolls.

The result of a public consultation over proposed increases is also being discussed.
