Coronavirus vaccination pop-up clinics are running in Newquay amid a rise in cases in the town.

People can arm themselves against Covid-19 this week by grabbing a jab at the Day Lewis Pharmacy.

Anyone who is 18 and older and has not yet been vaccinated can receive their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at the pharmacy in Chester Road, from 9am to 6pm.

Appointments for the sessions, which take place until Friday 2nd July, can be made by either calling 119 or visiting nhs.uk

“Cases of COVID-19 are increasing in Newquay, and our pop-up clinics at the Day Lewis pharmacy will make it easier for anyone who has not yet been vaccinated to protect themselves and their loved ones, so we can all get back to doing the things we love.

“We have lots of appointments, and it's easy to book: just call 119 or visit nhs.uk, and grab a jab. It’s quick, easy, and you can get protected and get back on with your day within 20 minutes. Don’t delay, book your jab today.”
